Starting a new day

Sometimes I wonder if there is a link between sleepiness in the morning and the activities during the day.

Today I woke up quite early at around 6.15am, but I managed to sleep a little earlier yesterday night compared to my night owl timings on normal days. However, I still feel very tired and sleepy.

Does it have to do with your anticipation level of the activities you are about to do further into the day? Like booking in, working or going out with your loved ones. Do I feel more sleepy because I know I am doing something I don’t like like booking into camp early in the morning? Compare this to waking up early at 4am for a flight to Hong Kong for leisure, I think the latter really makes everything very different. You wake up early, quickly wash up, get changed and a last check before you quickly go off to the airport.

Now, I am sleepy and highly immobile even though I woke up quite late. So do you think I like the upcoming activities of my day?
